How to Include Images in Magento 2

Besides understanding to optimize images, Including images is an important thing when you make a new page on your website. In addition to the new page method, Magento 2 gives the WYSIWYG editor tool, which empowers you to work in a “What You See Is What You Get” view of the content. And on the WYSIWYG bar, you can view the Insert Image icon, just hit it to add any picture you want on the CMS page.

To Include Images in Magento 2

  • Method#1: Include an Image from Media Storage
  • Method#2: Include an Image from Different Server

Method#1: Include an Image from Media Storage

  • Click on Show/Hide Editor button if you need to work instantly with the code.
  • Place the cursor at the section you need to include the image. Then, click on Insert Image.
  • From the list of files displayed on the popup box, choose the item to utilize and tap the Insert File button.
  • To see the image in WYSIWYG mode, tap Show / Hide Editor again.

Method#2: Include an Image from Different Server

You can utilize this system if an image is online and include it on a different server. The full URL of the image is needed to insert it.

  • Click on Show/Hide Editor button if you need to work directly with the code.
  • Point the cursor at the position you need to include the image. Now, tap on the Insert Image icon.
  • From the list of the file displayed on the popup box, choose the item to utilize and tap the Insert File button.
  • Insert the complete URL of the image in the Image URL section.
  • Insert descriptions for the Image Description section.
  • Insert the title for the Image Title section.
  • Click on the Insert to complete the inserting method.
