How to add a category and subcategory in Magento 2

Category And Subcategory In Magento 2:

Do follow the following steps to add categories and subcategories:

In the left sidebar of the Admin panel, go to CATALOG > Categories.
Now this page will open where you will the two option at the top left of the page

Add Root Category
Add Subcategory
First of all, we are adding a root category and then we will add a subcategory simply click on the Root Category
Now click on the save. You can see on the left sidebar that your root category is saved and now click on the category which we make recently.
And then click on the Add Subcategory and same as we did in the root category give it a name and then save it.

You can see the root category and subcategory at the left sidebar. This is all we successfully create the root and subcategory.
