How to change the favicon in Magento 2

Favicon is derived from "Favorite Icon", and it refers to the small icon on the tab of every browser. And also in some browsers, the favicon is shown in the address bar, just before the URL. The size of Favicon is generally 16 x 16 or 32 x 32 pixels. Magento 2 acquires ICO, PNG, JPG, and SVG file types, although not all browsers support these formats. Globally the most recommended file type use for a favicon is ICO. There are various online tools that are free of cost and you can use and make the favicon easily without any issue.
