How to Customize Full Page Cache / Clear Cache

To Customize the Full Page Cache - The CMS of Magento 2 will help you to enhance the performance of your website. Exceptional, by default Magento 2 provides us with the Full Page Cache on the server to improve the performance of various pages such as category pages, product pages, and CMS pages. 

By Enabling the Full Page Cache the response time on your site will be faster and also reduces the user waiting time to reload the server but if not then the fully generated page can be read directly from the cache.

To customize the Full Page Cache

  • In the left sidebar of the Admin Panel, go to STORES > Settings > Configuration.
  • Click on the ADVANCED to expand and select System.
  • Click on the Full Page Cache section,
  • In the Caching Application section, click on the Use system value to uncheck and select one of them from the dropdown.

  • In the TTL for the public content section, we set the time-out for the page cache. By default value is 86400

Customize the Vanish Cache

  • Click on the Varnish Configuration section,
  • In the Access list, enter the IP addresses, IPs access-list divisions with ',' that can prevent Varnish Configuration for the config file generation. If the scope is the blank default value localhost will be saved.
  • In the Backend host area, enter the IP address of the backend host that generates config files. By default value is localhost.
  • In the Backend port area, identity the backend port that is used to generate config files. By default value is 8080.

  • In the Export Configuration, click on the button for the version of Varnish that you use.
    • Export VCL for Varnsih 4
    • Export VCL for Varnsih 5
    • Export VCL for Varnsih 6
