How to set up the Contact us Form and Contact Email in Magento 2

The Contact Us link on the footer of the store is a simple way for buyers to keep in touch with you. Buyers can complete the form to send a message to your store.

Magento sets email as the default email address, but you may need to replace it with your email address here. To check out that it is mailed to your inbox, you must approve SMTP. You can also personalize email templates, and your label email banner here.

To configure the Contact Us form in Magento 2

These are the following steps to follow

Step#1: Log in to your Magento 2 backend

  • In the Admin panel, go to STORES > Settings > Configuration.
  • In the sidebar, click on General > Contact Us.

Step#2: Set up Contact Us form

    • Click on the Contact Us section,
    • In the field of Enable Contact Us, Select Yes

    • Click the Email Options section,
    • In the field of Send Emails To, enter the email address where messages from the Contact Us form are sent.
      • Set up the Email Sender to the store identification that shows as the sender of the message from the Contact Us form. 
      • Set up Email Template to the template that is used for messages sent from the Contact1_19.png


Complete all changes and click on the Save Config button.
