How to translate CMS Pages in Magento 2

Translating the CMS pages is one of the ways which keeps supported in such a way to extend your business on the global. This means you can generate a translated website and then make it visible for a particular store view for your users. To produce the content page for the translation, you have to build a new page with the same URL to assign it to the store. After configuring, you will update the CMS page for the particular view with the translated text.

Translate CMS Pages of Magento 2

To translate the CMS pages in Magento 2 follow the following steps:

  • On the Dashboard of Magento 2, Content > Elements > Pages.
  • Finalize the page that requires to be translated, and open it in the edit mode.
  • Copy the URL key to the clipboard. Click on the Back Button to go back to the Grid page.
  • Click on Add New Page, you require.
    • Translate the Page Title.
    • Paste the copied URL key.
    • In the top-left corner, choose the Store View for the translation display.
    • on the sidebar, below Page Information, choose content, then enter the translated text for the page.
    • Build the layout for the page in the Design tab.
    • Finish the translation for keywords and Description in the Meta Data tab.
  • Click Save Page to finish, and clear the cache if preferred.
  • Go to the storefront and utilize the language selector to verify the translation on the store view. The elements like the company footer link block and the welcome message.
