Setup Multiple Stores in Magento 2

The website is the high-level container for sites, shipping process, payment process, and checkout method etc. And if you need a totally different website from the previous one which does not even share the cart, and also it is essential to design a new website that can use an identical domain or also different.

To Setup A New Website

Only two steps required to set up a new website in Magento 2.

Add a new website.
Setup the Store URL.

Add a new Website
- On the Dashboard select Stores > Settings > All Stores.
- Click on Create Website, then follow the following steps:

Set Name for the website by inserting the domain of the different website.
Type Code for the website that helps lower-case letter, and any sequence of letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), and the hyphen (-) character.
Define the Sort Order that is the location of the new website on the list if necessary.
Mark the Set as Default checkbox if you want to use it as the default website.
Click Save Website to finish it.
Also, allow us to set up the store and the store view for this website if you require it.
