What is Google Tag Manager (GTM)?

Google Tag Manager is a free tag management tool that allows Magento 2 store owners to manage and deploy marketing tags without any change in the code. Google tag manager and Google analytics are very important parts of the Magento 2 stores.

Steps to add Google Tag Manager in Magento 2

Follow the following steps to add GTM in Magento 2

Create a Google Tag Manager Account

Login with your Gmail account.
Open the GTM website and click on the Create Account button.

Complete the Information at the Add a New Account page.
Click on the Create button.

Get the GTM Code

After Create you will get the GTM code, which has two sections one is for the header section and the second is for the body section.
Paste both head and body sections into your Magento 2 website.
